Michael Elliott

Strategic Initiatives

Michael’s life and ministry were forever changed on a college mission trip to Papua New Guinea, where he came to know and put his faith in Jesus Christ. Experiencing the Gospel in a cross-cultural setting ignited his lifelong passion for missions and shaped his conviction that stepping out in faith to serve others can transform lives for eternity. That moment continues to guide every aspect of his volunteer work with The Impact Collective.

Michael holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education with a concentration in Missions after graduating and playing basketball in college. Over the past three decades, he has served the Church as a teacher, missionary, administrator, nonprofit leader, and chaplain. His career reflects a unique blend of pastoral care, organizational leadership, and a deep desire to help people encounter Jesus through meaningful discipleship and service.

His extensive missions experience includes trips to Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Brazil, Honduras, Nicaragua, Philadelphia, Memphis, Cambodia, and other communities throughout the U.S. Every trip reinforces his belief that the Gospel is most clearly seen when God’s people serve with humility and love.

Michael serves full-time as an upper school Bible teacher at a private Christian school, where he invests daily in the spiritual formation of students. His role with The Impact Collective focuses on strategic initiatives and fundraising, helping build partnerships and steward resources for long-term impact. He is passionate about connecting people’s generosity to God’s work, inviting others to experience the same kind of life-changing impact that missions had on him as a young man.
