My, my, my… as I have sat and reflected over the past couple of weeks I am continually reminded of how gracious God is.
Not only His grace in allowing us to participate in the work that He is so evidently doing in New Mexico, but the grace that gave us the opportunity to so deeply enjoy and be formed by our time there. It is not of ourselves that we came back changed, all we did was say yes and show up (and even then God worked behind-the-scenes to get each of us there).
As one who has been on this trip multiple times, I count every visit as a privilege when it comes to seeing student after student pour out their heart on the reservation. Time after time, those same students come back with fuller hearts than they had left home with. What a gracious gift!
The Lord was at work in ways that we never saw coming and I cannot wait to share more with you about specific moments from serving and our spiritual retreat. Strongholds were broken, chains left behind, and hope was restored. All in and because of the precious name of Jesus!
To all who prayed for us as we went out on this journey, thank you. Your prayers were felt in a multitude of different ways, some that may surprise you upon hearing them! Nonetheless, have confidence that our God was praised through the way He used us to love and care for the people on the mission and even people we encountered along the way as we traveled place to place.
God is so good, and this trip was another beautiful display of the grace that is poured out in these times of abundance!
Stay tuned, we’ll be having some exciting stories being shared over the next couple weeks! In addition to these stories we will be sharing some news about the release of our upcoming documentary, Love Like Chris!
